Notes:


1. Allow up to 5 days for shipment.


2. Shipping will be via FedEx for orders over $100, otherwise by airmail.


3. Prices are quoted in US dollars. We will debit your card in 
   Australian dollars to as close as we can estimate to the US$ amount.
   If you feel you have been charged too much mail us a copy of your 
   credit card statement and we will refund the balance.


4. Warranty:
   For ONE unit purchased per company or site we will 
   cheerfully give a refund (less S&H) of the purchase price if you
   are not happy with the unit for any reason, providing it is
   returned to us within 35 days of shipment.


   For all units purchased we provide a 1 year warranty on materials
   and labour. 


   Units must be returned to us and must in our opinion not have been
   misused. You must contact us for a Return Authorisation Number 
   before returning any goods.


   (Basically, full money back guarantee on one unit to try out,
   normal labour/materials warranty on subsequent units.)


5. Please email us if you prefer to pay other than by credit card.
   There will be extra bank charges for funds tranfers or 
   cheques in non-Australian currencies.


6. To get started with the GaugeLink you will also need:


   - A Mitutoyo Digimatic gauge (caliper, micrometer etc).


   - A matching Mitutoyo data cable.


     Mitutoyo use different connectors on the gauge end on
     different gauges. Please consult your Mitutoyo dealer 
     for the final determination of the right cable for your gauge.


   - A RS232 data cable to go between the GaugeLink and your computer's 
     COM port. The GaugeLink end needs a 25 way plug. The computer
     end needs a 9 way or 25 way socket, depending on your computer.


     It is also possible to plug the GaugeLink directly into the computer
     if it has a 25 way plug.


7.   The footswitch is highly recommended where both hands will be 
     occupied taking the measurement and holding the object being measured,
     or if the gauge must be held at an awkward angle during measurement.
     It can be quite difficult to press the Data button at the gauge
     without moving the gauge and ruining the measurement.


     The footswitch option consists of a heavy duty footswitch

     and an adaptor (same case type as the GaugeLink) which plugs 
     in between the GaugeLink and the computer.
